Storage Instructions
- Unreconstituted (Powder): Storing in the freezer (-20°C) is the standard method to keep lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides stable for long periods.
- Reconstituted (Liquid): Once mixed with water, peptides become fragile. Storing them in the refrigerator (2-8°C) is correct.
- The Warning: "Never freeze reconstituted peptides" is very important and correct. Freezing the liquid can create ice crystals that break the peptide bonds, rendering the substance useless.
